Liverpool FC refuse to confirm or deny Dalglish status
Liverpool Football Club are refusing to comment as to whether or not Kenny Dalglish will be their manager next season.
Media juggernauts the BBC and ESPN are pushing the club for answers but nobody is willing to comment.
ESPN wrote: 'ESPN sought to obtain clarity amid the rumours over Dalglish's future, but no comment was given - although an official statement is anticipated within the next 24 hours.'
BBC's Dan Roan - the only hack worth following on Twitter - said: 'Liverpool FC are refusing to either confirm or deny speculation that Dalglish has resigned as manager.'
If Dalglish is no longer the manager then we expect he will be given time to mull over the offer of a new position. When it was claimed that he'd walked out while at the Academy - because the last regime refused to consider him over Roy Hodgson - they advised him to take a few days off before making any hasty decisions. He did and returned to continue his employment.
If he's still the manager, we're very surprised as to why FSG have failed to nip this in the bud immediately. This is where something seems off to us. Our sources are claiming things, we have our own opinions but like you, until we see official confirmation one way or the other, we're sat having to observe the circus.
We find it quite sad really. If Kenny is still the manager then FSG need to act now. We don't expect them to respond to every claim and every rumour but this is just madness.
